Support for parents, guardians and caregivers
Where I am unable to offer direct support to a child or young person, perhaps because I do not have capacity in my schedule or the child is unable to access therapy at the time, I offer consultations to families, a space to tell your story.
Often by dedicating time and space to exploring your observations and concerns, we illuminate new ways of seeing a child and therefore new ways of understanding what their behaviour may be seeking to communicate, as well as coming to understand their nervous system expression.
In my experience, it is the secure adults around a child that hold the pieces of the puzzle that help me to explore the bigger picture, our shared explorations and reflections being key to helping me theorise what perception the child or young person may have of their experiences and therefore what might be impacting how they behave. Bringing together these puzzle pieces often helps us to explore together ways to empower a whole family system, the shift in understanding often bringing healing and growth.
Consultations can be arranged by telephone, online or in person.
Get in touch and we can explore a path that best suits the needs of your family.
Our parts don’t need to be managed or controlled- they need to be listened to and cared for.
